About Caroline Welchman, MD
Dr. Caroline Welchman joined Physicians to Women in 2023. She was raised in Roanoke and graduated from Northcross School. Dr. Welchman attended Davidson College for undergraduate medical education then received her doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She completed OB/GYN residency training at the University of South Carolina where she served as chief resident. She has special interests in pediatric gynecology, family planning, and compassionate obstetrical care and believes very strongly in helping patients achieve the family they have envisioned. She and her husband are the proud parents of a beautiful, strong and bright little girl. In their spare time they love biking, hiking, and being near any water. Dr. Welchman is excited to return to her hometown and provide care to the Roanoke valley’s amazing women!
