She earned her Diploma in Nursing from Norfolk General School of Nursing in 1986 and later her Bachelor of Nursing from Old Dominion University in 1999. She spent 20 years as a Labor and Delivery nurse at local hospitals where she earned her Inpatient OB Certification. She earned her Master’s of Nursing degree from Old Dominion University in 2004 and has been practicing in the Tidewater area since 2005. Rachel has one son and lives in Virginia Beach.
