About Katrina Marcinkowski, MD
Dr. Katrina Marcinkowski was born in Chicago, IL, and raised in Charlottesville, VA. She graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and History and received her medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated at the top of her class. Dr. Marcinkowski then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. During her residency, she was honored to receive the B. Frank Lovett Memorial Fund Award for compassion and excellence in the medical care of women. Dr. Marcinkowski is thrilled to be moving back to the area and joining the Tidewater Physicians for Women family.
Dr. Marcinkowski’s passion is found in empowering and providing compassionate care to women through all aspects of life’s journey, from contraception to obstetric care to menopause. She practices a full scope of OB/GYN and has special interests in adolescent gynecology as well as routine and high risk obstetrics. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family, running, hiking, skiing, and traveling in her free time.
