Nurse Practitioner
About Kathryn O’Grady Tabor, FNP
Kathryn grew up in Kansas and then traveled the world for several years with a missions organization before attending and graduating from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Having no particular interest at the time in women’s health, Kathryn started as a tech in Labor and Delivery and then fell in love with helping women through some of their most vulnerable moments, and becoming educated on trauma informed birth care.
She continued to work as an RN on Labor and Delivery while completing a doctorate at Wichita State University for Family Nurse Practitioner knowing her dream job would be to care for women through not only pregnancy but all that life brings. Kathryn is passionate about advocating for women’s health research, listening and learning from patients and their experiences, as well as providing evidenced based care.
A girl mom, Kathryn has 2 daughters who she has fun with and a supportive husband, Josh. A typical millennial, she enjoys all things Harry Potter, Taylor Swift, and Disney as well as playing tennis, being active, and listening to audiobooks. Kathryn is excited to start her new role, and learn more about the area – if you have a favorite restaurant you love, let her know when you see her, and bonus if they have gluten free options!
