About Jennifer Godbout, MD
Dr. Jennifer Godbout is a native of Hampton Roads. She graduated from Gloucester High School and received her undergraduate degree in Biology at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Godbout will complete her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Louisville in June 2012. Dr. Godbout is board certified in obstetrics/gynecology.
Dr. Godbout offers a wide range of services in obstetrics and gynecology. She is trained to help women in all walks of life, from the teenage years to beyond menopause. She provides well woman exams and prenatal care, as well as evaluation and management of abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal Pap smears, and pelvic masses. She has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Godbout lives in Yorktown with her husband, Eric and three daughters. When Dr. Godbout is not taking care of patients, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
