About Elizabeth Baker Golpira, MD
Dr Elizabeth Baker Golpira is a native of the Tidewater area and grew up in Norfolk. She graduated from Washington and Lee University and then attended Eastern Virginia Medical School. She completed her internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, VA. She then spent a year on the clinical faculty there in the ob/gyn department before returning to Norfolk to join WomanCare Center. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr Golpira has a busy obstetric and gynecologic practice. She enjoys women’s health and caring for women of all ages. She has a special interest in adolescent gynecology. Like all of her partners, she performs minimally invasive surgical procedures and a variety of different office procedures.
Dr Golpira and her husband stay busy with their three daughters. She enjoys running, skiing, cooking and traveling with her family.
